Coral 60 全球海洋公益行動計畫
2026台北國際扶輪年會期間，國際遊艇扶輪聯誼會（IYFR）台灣八支艇隊共同發起「Coral 60 全球海洋公益行動計畫（Coral 60 Global Ocean Action Initiative）」，由台灣領航者艇隊、台灣北極星艇隊、台灣福爾摩沙艇隊、台南安平南十字星艇隊、銀河艇隊、蒼藍星艇隊、高雄第七艦隊及台灣光耀艇隊聯合推動，並攜手國立海洋科技博物館成為國際戰略合作夥伴。
本計畫以「One Ocean．One Fellowship．One Commitment」為核心理念，結合海洋教育、珊瑚復育、國際認養及承諾儀式等四大行動模組，透過公益展示、環境教育及象徵性60株珊瑚復育行動，喚起全球扶輪人對海洋保育與氣候變遷議題的重視。活動並設置 Coral Commitment Wall，邀請來自世界各地的IYFR成員及扶輪社友共同簽署海洋守護承諾，展現跨國合作精神。
Coral 60 不僅是一項公益活動，更是一套可複製、可持續、可全球推廣的海洋行動模式。透過八隊聯合治理、資源共享與國際參與，期望從台灣出發，逐步擴展至全球各地IYFR船隊，共同打造扶輪海洋復育聯盟與IYFR海洋公益品牌。六十株珊瑚象徵六十份承諾，八支艇隊象徵一個團結的海洋社群，攜手以實際行動守護藍色海洋，為下一代留下永續希望。
Coral 60 Global Ocean Action Initiative
During the 2026 Rotary International Convention in Taipei, the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians (IYFR) Taiwan will launch the“Coral 60 Global Ocean Action Initiative”, jointly initiated by eight Taiwan fleets: Taiwan Voyager Fleet, Taiwan Polaris Fleet, Taiwan Formosa Fleet, Tainan Southern Cross Fleet, Galaxy Fleet, Sapphire Star Fleet, Kaohsiung Unique Seven Fleet, and Taiwan Light Up Fleet. The initiative is proudly supported by the National Museum of Marine Science & Technology as its International Strategic Partner.
Guided by the vision of “One Ocean, One Fellowship, One Commitment,” the program integrates four key components: marine education, coral restoration, global adoption participation, and an international commitment ceremony. Through educational exhibits, public engagement activities, and the symbolic restoration of 60 coral units, the initiative aims to raise global awareness of ocean conservation and climate change among Rotarians and communities worldwide.
A signature feature of the program is the **Coral Commitment Wall**, where IYFR members and Rotary participants from around the world are invited to pledge their support for marine sustainability, demonstrating the power of international collaboration and shared responsibility.
More than a single event, Coral 60 represents a sustainable and replicable model for global ocean stewardship. Through collective governance, resource sharing, and international participation, the initiative seeks to expand from Taiwan to the global IYFR network, laying the foundation for a Rotary Ocean Restoration Alliance and strengthening the IYFR marine service identity worldwide.
Sixty corals symbolize sixty commitments. Eight fleets symbolize one united ocean community. Together, we set sail from Taiwan to inspire global action for the protection and sustainability of our oceans.
